The themes are not exclusive and we always have some favourite standbys like “Settlers of Cataan” and “Wings of War” at each session.

Any ideas for themes are welcome. Look at themes in our session reports to get an idea. One way is to pick a game you would like to see played and consider what themes would include that game.

We will be planning some more long sessions for next year, and it seems that the occasional spontaneous long sessions are viable as well. Our last session went to 7:30pm for the group playing Twilight Imperium. Boy did we need it!

Also, anyone having ideas for some special events to try and put on next year, let us know.

<fb:like href="https://theboardgamers.org/?p=24" send="true" layout="standard" width="450" show_faces="false" font="arial" action="like" colorscheme="light"></fb:like>

Well, we are in the process of putting a calendar together for next year and creating a list of themes.

The idea behind the themes is just to give us a light prod to cycle through the vast array of boardgames that we have and enjoy playing.
